The Brief:

We hosted a duel collaboration between Ryman and Cricut to run a social media competition with the ambition to grow social media followings and drive engagement.

Working closely with both the Ryman and Cricut teams, we set up a competition to win 2 Cricut Joy Bundles. To enter the giveaway, social media users had to follow both Ryman and Cricut as well as tagging a friend. The giveaway was then shared across Ryman’s social media channels and across Cricut’s Instagram Stories, cross promoting to each other’s followers.

In addition to this, Cricut ran an Instagram Live with the influencer Emma Jewel Crafts where she demonstrated the Cricut machines and promoted the giveaway – the live was shared across Ryman’s social media channels.

To support the content creation we also collaborated with 2 influencers @make.e & @rebeccamariecreative , who had a combined following of 33,000 – they both created content for the giveaway. And lastly, to really amplify the giveaway it was boosted with paid ad spend across social media.

The Results:

Overall the giveaway totalled more than 9,500 entries as well as having combined impressions of 1.7M. It also gained Ryman over 6,700 new followers during the week-long period.
