The Brief:

We were approached by Design A Friend to support a two phase campaign using influencers to help raise brand awareness and increase their social following on Instagram.

In the first phase, we created an adorable themed influencer sleepover with parents and their children. The children were given their own Design A Friend dolls and goodie box so create a genuine fun-filled atmosphere.

The second phase of the campaign was aligned with the run-up to Christmas where families were once again given Design A Friend dolls and tasked to share themed Christmas imagery, showcasing children happily playing with their new toys.

Design a Friend saw a significant increase in their Instagram following as a direct result of our marketing campaigns.

The content was then shared across social media, paid social and other Design A Friend digital channels and produced wonderful sentiment from the influencers’ followers.

The Results:

We collaborated with 10 influencers across the 2 campaigns, who had a combined following of over 1.6M.

The influencers produced more than 30 pieces of content, reaching audiences in excess of 640,000. We ran these influencer giveaways to drive engagement and grow Designer A Friends Instagram channels – this produced over 36,000 engagements with an engagement rate of over 2%.
