TikTok Stories are a new feature on the Tiktok platform that allows you to share videos for up to 15 seconds on your profile that disappears after 24 hours.
Although TikTok Stories may look very similar to other story features on other platforms, some things set them apart from the rest of the pack.
When you post a Story on TikTok, it appears on your main feed tagged with a blue Story icon that takes viewers to that specific Story. Better yet, TikTok Stories include a comment section embedded in the post. While Instagram Stories only allow viewers to reply to a story privately, TikTok offers another place to keep conversations going publicly.
How to create a TikTok Story
Creating and sharing stories is super simple. Just follow these few steps.
Step 1: To use this new TikTok feature, start out as you would when creating a normal TikTok. Click the “+” sign on your home screen on the For You Feed
Step 2: From there, record Stories content using the Quick camera to capture up to 15 seconds of content per Stories frame.
Step 3: Once you’re happy with your content, you can click “Post to Story” to enable the tool. Content posted to Stories will disappear after 24 hours, inspiring audiences to check on their favourite creators daily and never to miss a thing.
