As part of our ongoing social media partnership with Butcher’s Pet Care, We Are SNS were tasked with supporting their Christmas collaboration with Curzon Cinemas. The goal was to help organise and capture an exclusive festive dog-friendly cinema event at Curzon Hoxton, providing high-quality in-house, UGC and influencer-led content to amplify across social channels.
The brief centred around:
Delivering event coverage that felt warm, festive and community-driven.
Showcasing Butcher’s long-running ‘Dog Day Afternoons’ partnership with Curzon.
Bringing together creators, including Butcher’s long-time Superfans, to help spread Christmas cheer and promote the Butcher’s pet food range.
Encouraging influencers and UGC creators to produce narrative-led content from their dog’s point of view, with a playful “inner monologue” voiceover.

The Approach
We Are SNS curated a guest list of 15 hand-picked creators, including UGC specialists, influencers and loyal Superfans we collaborated with during the previous year on Butcher’s always-on content.
To bring the Christmas experience to life, we:
- Designed a creator brief encouraging a “A Day at the Cinema” POV concept from each dog’s perspective.
- Highlighted moments such as arrival, personalised goodie bags, themed photo opportunities, and the cosy cinema set-up.
- Focused on capturing a balance of professional content, creator POV content, and organic event moments
- Ensured every piece of coverage showcased the festive spirit, the unique dog-friendly cinema experience and Butcher’s partnership with Curzon.
The event delivered an inviting scene, including a lowered cinema volume for canine comfort, snacks for both humans and dogs, and a warm community atmosphere; all perfect ingredients for highly engaging content.
The Results
The Christmas Curzon event was a standout success. The combination of curated creators, fun pet-centric storytelling and an authentically festive setting resulted in a wealth of valuable content for Butcher’s long-term use.
The campaign delivered:
- A strong library of in-house, UGC, and influencer content to drip-feed across Butcher’s social channels.
- High levels of positive audience sentiment thanks to the relatable, heartwarming theme.
- Reinforced brand affinity with both existing fans and new audiences drawn in through creator storytelling.
