The Brief

We Are SNS was tasked with developing and executing Curl Co’s social media and influencer marketing strategy to grow their following, drive direct sales, and increase brand awareness. The campaign needed to position Curl Co as a trusted haircare brand within retailers and stockists, while maintaining authentic engagement with their audience.

We were responsible for creating a clear content direction, building a strong social media foundation, and activating influencer programmes that could reach new audiences, drive measurable results, and provide assets to amplify the brand consistently across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.

The Approach

We Are SNS created a structured social content programme, producing around 20 pieces of original content each month, including photography, videography, animation, and lifestyle assets. This foundation supported an ‘always-on’ influencer programme, gifting products to 40 new influencers each month to drive awareness and direct sales while generating content for repurposing.

Seasonal activations included macro-influencer campaigns and dedicated launches, such as National Curly Hair Day, where we partnered with YouTuber Lana Summer to create an exclusive edit shared across her channel. Additional content included social polls, countdowns, and giveaways to increase engagement and reinforce campaign messaging.

The Results

The Lana Summer Edit alone drove a 331% increase in sales, with 125% coming from the US, highlighting significant international demand. Within the first six months, We Are SNS produced over 60 pieces of original content and grew Curl Co’s social media following by 42%. Collaborating with over 130 influencers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube, the campaign generated 130+ pieces of content, reaching audiences of 140,000+, and achieved more than 15,000 engagements through influencer giveaways. This strategy successfully boosted brand awareness, social presence, and direct sales for Curl Co.
