The Brief

The Brief

Student Beans partnered with We Are SNS to deliver an influencer-led campaign targeting student acquisition and engagement. The campaign aimed to highlight challenges students face while studying from home, particularly during the pandemic, while encouraging positive self-care habits.

We collaborated with beauty retailer Look Fantastic to create a fun and relatable campaign that encouraged students to feel and look their best. Student influencers were tasked with sharing their morning beauty routines before joining online classes and their end-of-day wind-down rituals. By offering influencers credit to spend via the Student Beans platform, the content felt authentic, genuine, and highly relatable to the student audience.

The Approach

Working closely with Student Beans, we executed a week-long campaign featuring 27 nano, micro, and mid-tier influencers. Each influencer created content using Look Fantastic products, sharing both their morning routines and evening wind-down rituals. The campaign emphasised authenticity, showing real students managing self-care alongside studies.

We oversaw influencer selection, briefings, content approval, and scheduling to maximise reach and engagement. All content was shared across Instagram, TikTok, and other social channels, creating a vibrant mix of stories, posts, and Reels. By providing influencers with Look Fantastic credit via the Student Beans platform, we ensured a seamless and enjoyable experience, while driving student awareness, engagement, and platform sign-ups.

The Results

The campaign reached a combined audience of 500,000 through 90 pieces of content created by 27 influencers, achieving over 45,000 engagements and an impressive engagement rate of 5%+. Social sentiment from students was overwhelmingly positive, reflecting the campaign’s relatability and authenticity.

Financially, the campaign delivered a cost per engagement (CPE) of 22p and a cost per thousand impressions (CPM) of 22p. Overall, the partnership boosted awareness, inspired students to engage with Student Beans and Look Fantastic, and reinforced self-care messaging in a playful, relevant way.
