The Brief

The Brief

The primary objective of this campaign was to extend the #LifeUnfiltered narrative from the olive groves of Italy into real British kitchens. Working on behalf of Farchioni, we were tasked with producing 10 Instagram Reels that celebrated the real, rustic, and unprocessed journey of Il Casolare Unfiltered Extra Virgin Olive Oil.

The brief demanded a departure from polished, artificial content, instead championing "imperfect realism". The content needed to connect with food lovers and wellness-conscious consumers by capturing small, sensory moments, such as the oil’s movement, the crust of fresh bread, and the play of natural sunlight, to show how the product fits naturally into everyday life.

The Approach 

Our content approach was grounded in a flavour-first strategy that prioritised tactile textures and natural light. We avoided artificial setups in favour of a warm, sensory tone that highlighted the product's unique selling points.

Visual storytelling: We utilised macro photography and slow-motion details to showcase the oil’s natural cloudiness and glow.

Rustic aesthetics: Scenes were composed using raw materials like wood, stone, linen, and ceramic to maintain a grounded, authentic feel.

Diverse content pillars:

  • The ritual: Shaking the bottle to show the authentic sediment and drizzling the oil over fresh bruschetta or burrata.
  • Culinary versatility: Demonstrating a sweet application by creating an olive oil and raw honey caramel sauce.
  • Sustainability: Highlighting bottle usability by showing consumers how to repurpose the empty glass bottle as a candle holder.

Functional Highlights: Filming specific segments to showcase the flip-cap seal, emphasising a no-leaks and no-missing-caps user experience.

The social media campaign successfully transitioned Il Casolare from a professional harvest story into a relatable household staple. By focusing on the beauty of unfiltered, we delivered a suite of assets that felt both premium and accessible, resulting in zero amendments from the client. 

The content effectively communicated the brand's core values of authenticity, simplicity, and nature's richness, while providing practical inspiration for product usage. The inclusion of functional content, such as bottle repurposing and the flip-cap feature, added a layer of utility that resonated with modern, conscious consumers, positioning Il Casolare as a brand that values both quality and sustainability.
