The Brief

Staycity collaborated with We Are SNS for a three-month influencer marketing campaign to highlight the convenience and versatility of their aparthotels’ kitchenette facilities. The aim was to showcase the amenities through authentic, food-focused content that also incorporated local storytelling. With our experience with destination brands like Best Western, we know we were up to the challenge.

The Approach

We implemented a mixed-tier influencer strategy, partnering with micro to macro influencers in key cities including Birmingham, London, Dublin, Paris, Marseille, and Liverpool. Each month, five influencers produced at least one IG Reel or TikTok video, alongside Instagram Stories, demonstrating Staycity's unique offerings.

In addition to influencer activity, our in-house team captured lifestyle content at the Birmingham aparthotels, including “day in the life” sequences and local highlights. This content was then optimised and shared across Staycity's social media channels to provide organic, on-brand storytelling.

The Results

The social media campaign reached a combined influencer following of over 850,000. Engagement included 6,500+ likes, 200+ comments, and 3,500+ saves, while total impressions hit 300,000+. Story views reached 55,000+, with 550+ sticker taps and link clicks, reflecting strong audience interaction. 

The overall engagement rate was 3.5%, with standout performances from Maxwell (view rate over 60%), Jenny (engagement rate just under 4%), and Christina (view rate exceeding 80%). This strategic blend of influencer content and in-house lifestyle imagery successfully amplified Staycity's online presence and showcased the brand’s unique selling points.
