Cake Box, a leading cake retailer with over 230 stores nationwide, sought to establish a dynamic presence on TikTok, recognising the platform’s growing influence. They partnered with We Are SNS to develop a comprehensive strategy encompassing TikTok growth, content creation, and influencer engagement to boost brand visibility, engage a younger audience, and highlight Cake Box’s unique offerings.

The Approach

We Are SNS implemented a two-phase strategy. The first phase focused on establishing a playful and relatable brand tone on TikTok while educating and entertaining viewers about Cake Box’s products and in-store experiences. Content creation included in-store videos showcasing cake-making and decorating processes, highlighting the artistry and attention to detail. The second phase incorporated influencer collaborations, tapping into a range of micro and macro influencers to broaden reach and create authentic, engaging content that resonated with their followers.

We also leveraged trending TikTok formats and sounds to create relevant and shareable content while incorporating behind-the-scenes footage to showcase the fun, energetic environment of Cake Box stores. This mix of studio and on-location lifestyle content allowed Cake Box to establish a consistent, engaging feed that appealed to both existing and new audiences.

 

The Results

Over the first 9 months, We Are SNS produced over 150 pieces of TikTok content, blending educational, entertaining, and trend-led videos. Influencer marketing amplified reach, producing content that showcased in-store experiences, personalisation options, and seasonal campaigns. 

The channel grew by over 5,500 followers, with an average of 21,000 impressions per post. Engagement metrics included 70,000 likes, 12,000 shares, and 6,000 saves, demonstrating strong audience interaction and a growing, engaged TikTok community.
